Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using Sterliq Bank's services. By opening an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Account Opening and Eligibility

1.1 Eligibility Requirements

• You must be at least 18 years of age
• You must be a legal resident of a country where we operate
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You must pass our identity verification procedures

1.2 Account Approval

Sterliq Bank reserves the right to approve or deny account applications at our discretion. We may request additional documentation to verify your identity or comply with regulatory requirements.

2. Account Usage and Security

2.1 Your Responsibilities

• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• Ensure your contact information is current
• Review account statements regularly
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

2.2 Prohibited Activities

• Money laundering or terrorist financing
• Fraudulent or illegal transactions
• Violating intellectual property rights
• Attempting to compromise system security
• Using the account for business purposes (personal accounts)

3. Deposits and Withdrawals

3.1 Deposits

Deposits are subject to verification and may be held for a reasonable period. We reserve the right to refuse or return deposits that violate our policies or applicable laws.

3.2 Withdrawals

Daily and monthly withdrawal limits apply. Large withdrawals may require advance notice. We may restrict withdrawals if we suspect fraudulent activity.

3.3 Processing Times

Standard processing times: ACH transfers (1-3 business days), Wire transfers (Same day to 2 business days), International transfers (2-5 business days)

4. Fees and Charges

Current fee schedule is available on our website. Fees may include:

• Monthly maintenance fees (waivable)
• ATM withdrawal fees
• International transaction fees
• Wire transfer fees

• Overdraft fees
• Paper statement fees
• Account closure fees (within 90 days)
• Dormant account fees

We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any fee changes.

5. Interest and APY

Interest rates and Annual Percentage Yields (APY) are subject to change at any time. Current rates are displayed on our website and in your account dashboard.

• Interest is calculated daily and credited monthly
• Minimum balance requirements may apply
• Promotional rates have specific terms and conditions

7. Liability and Limitations

• Service interruptions or system failures
• Losses due to circumstances beyond our control
• Unauthorized access resulting from your negligence

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1 Internal Resolution: Contact our customer service team first to resolve any disputes.

8.2 Arbitration: Disputes not resolved internally will be subject to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

8.3 Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class actions.

9. Account Closure

Either party may close the account at any time:

• You may close your account through the app or by contacting support
• We may close accounts for violation of terms or suspicious activity
• Outstanding balances must be settled before closure
• We will mail a check for remaining balances to your address on file

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. FDIC Insurance

Deposits at Sterliq Bank are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) up to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, for each account ownership category.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days notice for material changes. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
